Did you grow up in choirs or are you some-one with a strong musical background? Do you have a passion for performing and are you willing to push your own boundaries for meaningful musical experiences?  Xara isn't just a choir, it's a way of life!

To audition you will need to prepare two pieces from memory:

  • one classical, accompanied by Xara's pianist (please bring a copy of the music)
  • one jazz/pop/folk sung without piano accompaniment

In addition to your two memorized pieces, you will be led through some vocal exercises, take part in a brief interview, and do some sight-singing.

Please bring a copy of your music resume (including all past music, theatre, dance, gymnastics, or other movement experience) and the names/contact info of two people who can serve as references for your musical skills.
